Top seeds Oliver and his doubles partner Alexander Peya defeated No. 3 seeds Frantisek Cermak and Filip Polasek 6-3, 6-2 to win the Heineken Open in Auckland on Saturday.

The Austrian pair won 78 per cent of their first serve points, and broke Cermak and Polasek three times to wrap up the victory in one hour and four minutes. "It's been a great week for us," said Marach. "Our serve really dominated today. I think we were maybe broken once in the whole tournament. We mixed it up well throughout the week. We're very happy with the performance and it's good for our confidence with Melbourne coming up."
Marach and Peya were appearing in their third final together, with all of their title match appearances coming against Cermak and Polasek. They triumphed over the Czech-Slovak duo in Hamburg and finished runner-up to Cermak and Polasek in Belgrade last year. Marach improved to a 12-8 final record, while both of Peya's title victories in his nine final appearances have come with his countryman.
"Personally I was injured for the whole of December so it was a tough winter for me," Marach said. "We played in Brisbane but knew we needed a bit more time, so we came here to get some more matches. It's always nice to go into a Grand Slam having won a tournament. We love the tournament there, so hopefully we can keep it going."
