Top seeds Oliver and Alexander Peya picked up their first win of the season on Wedensday with a 6-2, 6-4 victory over Spaniards David Ferrer and Albert Montanes in the first round of the Heinkeken Open in Auckland.
The match was suspended due to rain with the all-Austrian team 6-2, 5-2, two points away from victory. When the teams were back on court, the Spaniards took two straight games, but that was all they could do. Oliver and Alexander closed out the match in the tenth game.
They next play G. Garcia Lopez and F. Verdasco.
