No. 3 seeds Robert Lindstedt and Horia Tecau recorded their 7th tour-level win this season as they defeated Oliver and Alexander Peya 6-1, 7-5 Wednesday in the first round at the ABN Amro World Tennis Tournament in Rotterdam. Austria has reached the quarter-finals for the first time since 1995 after former World No. 8 Jurgen Melzer defeated Alex Bogomolov Jr. of Russia 6-2, 6-4, 6-1, in one hour and 43 minutes, in the first reverse singles rubber. Oliver and Alexander Peya didn’t manage to clinch the tie after they lost 7-6(1), 6-7(7), 7-5, 3-6, 6-4 to Nikolay Davydenko and Mikhail Youzhny on Saturday.
